In 1999 when Jacob Savage founded Speak Creative, the mobile technology revolution was experiencing a skyrocketing trajectory, but smartphone adoption and app development would be years in the future.

Slightly more than a decade later Savage’s Memphis-based design and technology firm produced its first mobile app for a client and today that brand of digital development accounts for 30 percent of the company’s projects.
